請問舞蹈治療的意涵

A:舞蹈治療是以舞蹈/動作為媒介,協助參與者在身體、情感、認知與社會功能等方面有更好的發展、轉變及更加健康(轉引自吳士宏,民85)。所以其基本理念就是身體反映心理狀態,透過對身體的察覺和即興探索,激發壓抑於潛意識的心理狀態,達到宣洩或頓悟的效果。

一般而言,「動作」多由人格產生,也是人格的一部份,並且會影響到人的情緒狀態。例如對於精神狀況較不穩定者,可協助其定義「身體我」(鄭泰安,民66)。

當快樂時會情不自禁的拍手;當氣不過卻又無法爆發時,或許會不自覺地握拳、全身發抖。心中的憤怒、喜悅、恐懼、沮喪等情感通常會透過肢體動作有意無意地表現出來。人們可能都有這樣的經驗,有時當我們察覺到週遭朋友的情緒狀態,並非由語言傳達,而是由觀察他人的行為表現感受到的,所以試圖由觀察身體動作的表達去理解心理困擾,進而運用身體表達去調適、面對、處理情緒議題,引導情緒回歸正常健康的軌道,再以健康的心態面對當初的問題癥結,不但能重新面對、學習與其共處,還可進一步找到解決之道,再度重造完整的身心健康,這整個身心互動歷程就是舞蹈治療進行的基礎模式。

比方說有些人在心情不好時去夜店狂舞一番,當跳到精疲力竭、汗流浹背之後,整個人的情緒也跟著好轉了;也有些人在上完即興舞蹈課程後,身體有了新的體會,因此對自己的肢體能力也有了更深的認識與了解;也有些人在練完瑜珈、有氧舞蹈後感覺通體舒暢,這些皆涵蓋於舞蹈治療的範圍內。舞蹈治療的基本原則之一,就是體驗動作經驗所帶來的身體感受,可將之視為身體與思想、心靈的對話,以身體動作的發展、身體行動的變化性與可塑性所帶來的體會,進而更深入了解自我,身心統合能力更完整。

由情感表達和溝通觀之,情感的釋放與表達有時無法用文字或語言完全抒發,如挫折、氣餒、恐懼、憤怒、愛等情緒,常以複雜的互動狀態共存,以語言未必能表達出來,若能以非語言的方式抒發,就能更清楚完整地表達與釋放。另舞蹈創作也常透過舞蹈動作經驗來表達這些情緒想法,與舞蹈治療有同工異曲之效,創作過程中可將心中感受與動作結合釋放出來,既可補語言表達之不足,更能強化感覺、情緒並具體透過身體動作表達,在過程中感受自己心靈與身體的連結,覺察身體與情緒的互相影響和共存。

舞蹈創作與舞蹈治療仍有本質上的不同,舞蹈創作最主要是抒發情感及想法,重視原創性,是將個人的情感、情緒、觀點、想法透過外在身體的學習、技巧訓練來表達,有一定的結構與形式,經過不斷的練習、修改、組織、整理而淬煉成最後的外在表演形式,而舞蹈治療是透過身體此媒介更深層了解心靈,並藉由透過各種身體經驗多方重新省察與進一步影響心靈狀態。舞蹈治療重視的是動作過程中的接觸、溝通與分享,將身體的探索、經驗與心理及生活做連結,表達真實的情緒,最後進行身心統整,影響與改變日後的行為表現、生活及人生觀(吳雅珍,民88)。

美國紐約市立大學韓特學院(Hunter College, CUNY)的施密斯博士(Dr. Smith)分析了各類舞蹈所產生的效果(李宗芹,民72):

芭蕾舞:其特色是嚴謹、有既定規則及技法,強調身形優雅,令人感到抒情、優美。對於生性夢幻浪漫,個性及行事過於剛硬者不妨一試。

肚皮舞:主要運用小腹和臀部肌肉的移動形成有韻律的舞蹈。練肚皮舞可以欣賞自己的肌膚,對於較為保守拘謹的人會有幫助。

方塊舞:四人一組,在跳舞時要持續接手、換手、與人面對面,對於害羞、缺乏人際接觸,以及注意力不集中者有幫助。

踢踏舞:踏出輕快有節奏的腳步節奏為其特色,有固定的韻律,可從中學習自我控制。自覺懶散無組織者可練習此舞蹈。

爵士舞:特色為動作開放、具陽剛之氣,節奏強而有力。個性軟弱、行事猶豫者可以嘗試。

迪斯可舞:使人在舞中找到新的自我表達方式,並可即興變換舞步,無須自我壓抑,具備自我激勵和放鬆的功效。對於行事諸多禁忌、完美主義者有幫助。

模仿舞蹈:主要是模擬他人動作,亦稱為鏡子舞蹈,可幫助人們認識到自己以外的行為模式。適合沉默、只關注自身想法者。

綜觀以上,舞蹈治療結合了舞蹈、教育、心理學和醫學的知識與技術,不同於我們一般認知的舞蹈創作藝術,所以在深入探討舞蹈治療時,應先去除舞蹈是表演、隨音樂起舞的刻板印象,賦予它一個更廣義的空間及視野,並了解舞蹈治療的源起。

People may have this experience, sometimes when we perceive the emotional state of our friends around us, not by language, but by observing the behavior of others, so try to understand psychological distress by observing the expression of physical movements, and then use physical expression to adjust, face, and deal with emotional issues. , guide the mood back to the track of normal health, and then with a healthy attitude to face the original problem, not only can face up to, learn to live with, but also can further find a solution, re-create complete physical and mental health, this whole physical and mental interaction process is the basic mode of dance therapy.

For example, some people go to nightclubs when they are in a bad mood, when they jump to exhaustion, sweating back, the whole person’s mood also improved, and some people after the improvisational dance class, the body has a new experience, so their physical ability also have a deeper understanding and understanding, and some people after yoga, aerobic dance feel comfortable, these are covered in the scope of dance therapy. One of the basic principles of dance therapy is to experience the physical feelings brought about by the experience of movement, which can be regarded as a dialogue between the body and the mind and mind, with the development of physical movement, the change of physical action and plasticity brought about by the experience, and thus a deeper understanding of the self, physical and mental unity ability more complete.

Ballet: It is characterized by rigorous, established rules and techniques, emphasizing the elegant body, people feel lyrical and beautiful. For a romantic nature, personality and act too rigid may wish to try.

Belly dance: Mainly using the movement of abdominal and hip muscles to form a rhythmic dance. Belly dancing can appreciate their own skin, for the more conservative and reserved people will be helpful.

Block Dance: A group of four who continue to take over, change hands, and face to face while dancing can be helpful to those who are shy, lack interpersonal, and inatt focused.

Tap dancing: step out of the fast and rhythmic pace of its characteristics, there is a fixed rhythm, from which you can learn self-control. Consciously lazy no organizer can practice this dance.

Jazz dance: characterized by open movement, mascust, strong and powerful rhythm. Those with weak personalities and hesitations can try.

Disco: Let people find new ways of self-expression in the dance, and can improvisational dance steps, without self-repression, with self-motivation and relaxation effect. It helps to act on a number of taboos and perfectionists.

Imitation dance: Mainly to simulate other people’s movements, also known as mirror dance, can help people recognize their own behavior patterns. Suitable for those who are silent and focus only on their own thoughts.
