In Taiwanese, Tau Lam-Hong means "soaked in the southern breeze," or conceptually interpreted as "assimilated with cultural elements of the south." These simple words perfectly address the owner’s willingness and Antennae Design Studio’s intent: to form an identical, idea-concretizing household that is connected to the belonging historical Tainan area.
人們居住的空間，無法脫離環境、在地歷史、風物人文而單獨存在，此案即是以府城素來積累的文化厚度為基礎，將人們偏愛的透天厝意象、古宮牆、老宅實木天棚桁樑、手工製作的花窗鐵件、抿石子等元素，加諸人的角色調和，恰如其分地融入空間，讓新美學與舊時光，淬煉出另一番耐人尋味的美，質樸中隱約時尚，是謂「透。南風」。透；引申貫串、引領之意。
The sophisticated ceiling design with Malaysian teak wood beams represents the traditional residence style of the southern Taiwanese. For the same reason, the designer played a visual illusion of a duplex house in the living room of this condo apartment. At the end of the aisle there lays the living room trimmed with the gorgeous ceramic red from every local temple, together with the decorative window grills that sum up the iconic Tainan attributes.
台南府城本身擁有悠久且浪漫的文化底蘊，既富於傳統東方的閩式基因，也調和著殖民時期留存的和風與古典巴洛克因子，這也促成我們在選材用料時，不以流行奢華取勝，而偏重親自然、耐候性良好、質地紮實緻密、用越久越有時間風韻的素材，例如應用於客廳與中島廚房上方；昔日古厝大宅常見的天頂實木桁樑、餐廳牆面塗裝抿石子、由古早花窗變化而來；師傅手工銲接的鐵件拉門、造型屏風等，甚至起居室內一面重點牆；靈感源自百年武廟老宮牆的斑駁暗紅色調，都是取法在地元素，靈活轉化為空間特色的客製化巧思。
Antennae Design Studio took themselves as a supportive role to concretize imaginations to executable details in this project. Washed pebbles, real woods, and other selected natural and enduring materials were applied to last long and be enriched as time goes by. Natural light is extensively and significantly introduced throughout the place, and the flooring and the architectural concrete of the kitchen form a sense of semi-open balcony to the facility.
居住者的角色，能為空間帶來源源不絕的說故事養分。
由不設電視主牆的客廳大窗往外眺望，遼闊的海天一色，成為生命中一幅無可取代的印象水墨，閱讀區後靠的階梯書牆，模擬透天舊宅複式樓層意象，除了當作公領域人文端景，跟客廳角落一整面附加磁性的灰鏡相片牆一樣，保有全家人共同生活、成長的記憶點滴。
At one end of this area there lays the owner’s favorite place of all, an elegant corner overlooking Anping Harbor, the historical cradle of Taiwanese culture and civilization. With every enjoyable bit of the place, Tau Lam-Hong illustrates a stunning and meaningful home in the southern Taiwan that everyone would dream of.
全案從思想、傳承、情感、工藝多個角度切入，善用類似說書人藉古論今的編排技巧，使各種新舊元素能水乳交融，多個伏筆賦予靜默空間生動表情，親自然健康材運用，活絡人與空間的互動頻率，也讓全家人的精采故事得以延續。
