內政部移民署為保障新住民公平數位機會，推動「保障新住民寬頻上網賡續計畫」，以「e起來上網，學習無距離」為溝通主軸，提供新住民免費借用筆記型電腦、平板電腦及免費行動網路等服務，期望透過計畫提升新住民數位近用機會，為新住民打造數位新生活。
為鼓勵新住民申請借用，移民署特別舉辦「新住民交流平臺多元文化文章票選」活動，鼓勵新住民借用筆記型電腦或平板電腦，瀏覽新住民數位資訊e網之新住民交流平臺多元文化文章，讓更多民眾了解來自不同國家的新住民母國文化、風俗民情及特色。

The National Immigration Agency for the protection of New Immigrants a fair digital opportunity to promote “The Program for Securing New Immigrants Broadband Access Plan”, in order for enhancing “Surfing the Net. & Contactless Teaching”, aiming at promoting leasing for FREE Wi-Fi & rent-free service of tablet or laptop for new immigrants, expecting for narrowing down New Immigrants’ disability of accessing digital information, whereas building up digital e-Life circle among these groups.
To encourage New Immigrants to apply new borrowing, Immigration Department organized the "New Immigrants Exchange Platform Multicultural Articles Online Vote" event to encourage New Immigrants to borrow laptops or tablets, promote “New Immigrants in Taiwan” and browse the New Immigrants exchange platform for multicultural articles. Let more people can understand the culture, customs and characteristics of the New Immigrants’ home country from different countries.

After New Immigrants from different countries came to live in Taiwan, they brought the language, culture and food of their home country, which also made Taiwan's culture more diverse and exciting. Do you know that there are different ways to eat jackfruit, which is rarely seen in the market in Taiwan?
